The law of attraction is a universal principle that says that we attract into our lives what we give the most attention and the most emotions to. In other words, whatever you put your energy and attention into will come back to you. When you focus on positive things, you automatically attract more positive things into your life. But if you only focus on the negative, you attract more negativity into your life.

When we focus on what is missing in our lives, or when we repeat to ourselves how we were hurt, we strengthen the victim attitude and feel even worse. As James Michael Nolan, licensed psychologist and Law of Attraction trainer says, "The energy, attitude, actions, and emotions that one puts out into the world tend to attract similar or resonant energy, attitudes, actions, vibrations, and emotions." 

Those who believe in and follow the law of attraction know very well that our thoughts have great power and that if we put our full focus on something, we can attract it into our lives. But many people misinterpret the law of attraction and think that if they want a million in their account, an expensive car or a great career, all they have to do is think about it. They forget that they need to take the necessary steps to turn their goals into reality. 

"If I think of a million euros and imagine them, the universe will send them to me." 

That's not exactly how it works. In fact, it's like this: 

"If I think about making a million euros, believe it and take action to make it happen, the universe will help me find ways to achieve that goal."

You can definitely see the difference. The law of attraction is not only based on our thoughts and emotions, but a large part of it is our actions. It simply cannot happen without action, and unless we get up our butts and get to work, the result will not come.

How to use the law of attraction?

There are several instructions on how to apply the law of attraction. Anyway, they mostly talk about these main points:

Desire: Focus on what you desire and what you want to get. If you don't know what you want, it's easy to get distracted by other thoughts and lose sight of it.

Visualization: Imagine what it would be like to get what you want. When you imagine that you have achieved your goal, the brain actually interprets that visualization as reality and begins to create new neural pathways to support that reality. Visualization is also practiced by many professional athletes who, thanks to it, take their skills to a higher level. 

Affirmations: These are statements by which you confirm that you have already obtained what you are trying to attract. For example statement: "I earn €10,000 a month." Say it as if it were already a fact and fully experience the emotion you feel when saying the affirmation. Positive affirmations are an effective way to change your thinking and encourage positive thoughts. 

Gratitude: Gratitude is the key to making the law of attraction work. When you are grateful for what you have and what happens to you, you will live better. Gratitude leads to a life of abundance, while complaining leads to a life of scarcity. 

Faith: in order to activate the law of gratitude, you must truly believe in what you have asked for. Many people imagine that they will make a million, but in reality they do not believe it in their hearts. When you don't believe it, you are already sabotaging your success in your mind. Successful people believe it is possible, so they act on it. Remember - the only way to turn your goals into reality is to take action. 

We can sum it all up in one short sentence: Believe it, feel it and allow it to manifest in your reality.
